As a home roaster enthusiast who is a member of coffee forums and have roasted on various equipment which includes the ever popular popcorn popper, coretto (breadmaker and heatgun), dog bowl and heatgun as well as the dedicated FZ-RR700 Baby Roaster. I can vouch for the user friendly nature of the Koffee Kosmo Roaster (KKTO) together with the cleanliness without the need for paraphernalia/roasting aids.
The chaff is contained within the roaster until the need arises to vacuum out, which is easy to do with the vacuum bean cooler I easily built which does the job of both extracting the beans from the KKTO straight into the cooler as well as extracting chaff and keeping the roasting bench tidy.
What was most important for me, was the flavour in the cup.
It was smooth and balanced.
Origin characters were easily recognized at roast levels C7 to C8. At C9 to C10, the espresso had the best pour out of the handle, with sweetness and body to match.
Certainly a better cup than my previous roasting methods and at least on par with the commercial offerings.
I entered the world of KKTO with some trepidation, but with great support, friendliness of other owners and Koffee Kosmo himself, it did not take long to nail the great roast.
Other people are now asking for my beans on a regular basis and am now doing back to back roasts.
In just 3 weeks I have roasted 15 kilograms of green beans
Bang for buck, this is great value.
Will I recommend this to others? Certainly yes!
So here's a thank you in return.
I love my Koffee Kosmo Roaster

The KKTO roaster is one tough roaster, I know, I have now done over 300 roasts in it and have roasted over 190kg of coffee beans. My standard batch size is 600 or 650 and the result is always consistent.
This is the best roaster I have used to date, the build quality is exceptional and after sales service and advise is superb.
If your looking for a roaster then grab one of these beauties.

I sold my Hottop B for a KKTO - best decision I made by far. Bigger roasts and I can do pretty much one roast after another.
Simple, easy and stores away when the space is limited due to the other half wanting to do her things.
Done lots of roasts even dropped a few roasts to a few friends - regulars now.
Its a low cost solution given the price of a commercial system which gives the same quantity.
If you want to start roasting, and made really really easy ..get this !!!

I am very happy with my KKTO roaster as I am able to consistently produce repeatable quality roasts that keep myself, friends and family in fresh, aromatic roasted coffee beans. One of the great things about this system is that you can leave it the way KK designed/manufactured it or you can tweak it to suit yourself to your hearts desire.
Roasting capacity "bang for buck" is also difficult to top.
I can highly recommend KK's roaster to anyone wishing to roast at home with the minimum of fuss.

The KKTO is without doubt one of the finest roasters available for the home roast market - so much so that I've been known to canvas some of speciality coffee roasts through my cafe to critical acclaim! What I like about the roaster is that it handles reasonable capacity (say 800g plus) with relative ease, and its fully customisable and adaptable for those who know what they're doing
Additionally, you have control over variables such as temperature, and duration of roast - and you can even increase air flow by simply lifting the lid, and introducing a burst of fresh air at certain choice moments throughout the roast
But most of all I'd like to commend the quality of coffee that the KKTO is capable of producing - that I would even consider running some of the roasts that I've produced from this machine through my cafe, speaks volumes about the KKTO's ability to produce cafe quality coffee at home
Quite simply the most versatile and best value for money home-use coffee roaster on the market!

I have had my KKTO since early August and I love the beast.I bought the full kit and had no problems assembling it.First roast was great and it's been fun ever since.I had a problem with the motor early on but KK's fantastic after sales service had me up and away again in a matter of hours.I roast for a couple of mates as well as me and I can't stop annoying them to use more so I can roast more often.I can thoroughly recommend the KKTO to anyone interested in home roasting.

I had the fortune of having the KKTO demonstrated for me prior to purchase... What that showed me was what a brilliant coffee roaster it was and how devilishly easy it is to use. There is a lot of information on the internet about roasting coffee, but I think that with the KKTO you can take out a lot of the mystery and just roast well, and roast often. Definitely good value for money.

I learnt to roast using the KKTO approx 6 months ago, and I can say it's the best thing since sliced bread.. err I mean instant coffee. Experience freshly roasted coffee from all over the world, at 1/4 the price. Friends that visit tell me "that's the best coffee I've ever had"......... Take the journey of roasting your own coffee at home and you won't look back.

As someone who has never roasted any coffee before I have now been happily roasting for about 6 months. The KKTO works a treat and has given absolutely no problems. I roast to just at the second crack - which is all to easy to work out - and have had uniformly good results. Seems to me that there is lots of "hype" spoken about all of this but using the KKTO, keeping the dial at 250 until second crack works reliably with a very uniform roast. Can't speak too highly about this great device. And what a price for a roaster that will do over half a kilo at a time.

What a fantastic product. What attracted me to the roaster is the ease of use and there is no mess!!! It's also compact! The coffee is great and fresh too and I don't even have to leave the house to buy it! Fantastic!

I have had this roaster for about 8 months now and I absolutely love it. The roasts are every bit as even as any commercial roast I have bought, and of course, I know exactly how long since it was roasted. I roast about 600gm of green beans at a time and I haven't had to throw out a single bad batch as yet.
One of the most amazing things is the total lack of mess - almost all the chaff is collected in the machine and is very easy to dispose of - definitely "Wife Approved".
In short, this roaster is simply brilliant and I wouldn't be without it.

This is a great product and excellent value for money.I have been using the Koffee Kosmo Turbo Oven roaster for 7 months now and I am consistently able to create roasted coffee as good or better than commercial roasters. Yes, a bold claim but my taste buds, not my ego, tell me this.
Although I have other home roasting equipment, I now use the KKTO exclusively. Once you take the time to find the correct technique I find it's gentle heat produces truly excellent results. It is hard to get it wrong. Even my "mistakes" have turned out to be drinkable.
I love it.
